Cultural Center Sponsors 2014 Open Studio Art Tours

The Hi-Desert Cultural Center is pleased to announce that it is a primary sponsor of the 2014 Open Studio Art Tours! The art tours will take place October 25 through November 2 and are organized each year by the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council – featuring over 135 artists from our beautiful Joshua Tree National Park desert communities.  We invite our patrons near and far to visit our new galleries, indulge in the private studios of our area’s eclectic desert artists, and to support our artisans!

About The Open Studio Art Tours

The Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council launched the Open Studio Art Tours in 2001 to connect artists directly with art lovers. The self-guided tour gives artists who live and work in the communities linked by the 50-mile stretch of Hwy 62 a chance to welcome art admirers and buyers into their studios to experience first-hand the artistic diversity so prevalent in the area. The event showcases fine art and fine crafts in a broad range of media and styles, and includes musical and theatrical happenings that further expand this cultural event into one that is sure to capture the interest of visitors, regardless of their age or art preference.

Should your schedule change and you find yourself needing to attend a performance on a different date — if you give the Box Office at least 48 hours notice prior to your ticketed performance, management will attempt to exchange your ticket for a different performance of the same show!
