Movement Born: New School Gains Momentum

JOSHUA TREE — Leaders from the Hi-Desert Cultural Center are moving to start a new public charter school that would focus on fine arts and technology.

Its backers say the proposed Joshua Tree Arts & Technology Academy would offer arts, technology and vocational curriculum to students in fourth grade through high school.
