The Hi-Desert Cultural Center is proud to host a film screening of the new short documentary film, TOMMY PAUL: PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST. Tommy Paul was first and foremost, a musician. For many years he operated “Tommy Paul’s Beatnik Cafe” in Joshua Tree and performed all over the high and low deserts.  Eventually, he had to confront a number of serious health challenges. In doing so, Tommy turned to his music—and found purpose, happiness, and fulfillment through his art.

Tickets: $10
6:30 PM — Doors Open, Cash Bar available.
7:00 PM — Introduction and Film Screening (Film Duration: 50 min.), followed by a Q&A. No Intermission.
