JOSHUA TREE, CA — Now boarding First Class. . . travel around the world with music from all over the “blue marble!” as the acclaimed Joshua Tree Philharmonic (JPHIL) performs World, Jazz, Latin, and Pop music during its end-of-season blowout concerts Friday, May 20 through Sunday May 22, 2016 at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s state-of-the-art Blak Box Theater.  This high-energy concert series will feature the music of Santana, Toto, Imagine Dragons, E.S. Posthumus, Chick Corea, Enya, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and other exciting Latin, Jazz, and Swing music.  Under the direction of Maestro Jarrod Radnich, the JPHIL is an innovative inter-generational community orchestra comprised of over fifty musicians from the Morongo Basin, Coachella Valley, Inland Empire, High-Desert/Apple Valley regions – and beyond.

Performances of the Joshua Tree Philharmonic always sell-out, and tickets are selling fast.  Evening performances are Friday May 20 and Saturday May 21 at 7:00pm. Matinee performances are Saturday May 21 and Sunday May 22 at 2:00pm.  Doors open one-half hour before the concert begins.  Light complimentary refreshments and a cash bar serving wine and beer are available at all performances.  Children must be at least 5 years of age to attend.

Should your schedule change and you find yourself needing to attend a performance on a different date — if you give the Box Office at least 48 hours notice prior to your ticketed performance, management will attempt to exchange your ticket for a different performance of the same show!
