“Mad”nificent Alice In Wonderland takes sold-out audiences on a fantastical journey!

HDCC Alice In Wonderland 151

The Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s acclaimed ArtsTech Academy education division brought to life the classic 1951 Walt Disney fantasy adventure animation, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, during its 2018 Summer Youth Theater Camp.  Being one of the top-awarded youth theater programs in the Southern California desert region, and the largest and top-awarded youth theater program in the greater Joshua Tree area, over 120 youth signed-up hoping to be a part of this extraordinary theatrical experience that dazzled audiences with magnificent steam-punk inspired costumes, brilliant acting, state-of-the-art lighting and stage effects, and more.  From an oversized Cheshire Cat to a nearly complete deck of marching cards, the youth grades 1-12 danced, sang, acted, and brought the sold-out audiences on a mad journey they will never soon forget!

The Hi-Desert Cultural Center wishes to congratulate everyone who helped bring-to-life the biggest and most remarkable youth theater production of the summer!  After more than five weeks of solid work, our area youth were truly fortunate to have such an incredible team of professional instructors, volunteers, and parents who worked tirelessly mentoring and guiding them so that they could shine on stage!
