Mother’s Day Cabaret—Love Songs From Broadway | May 10-12

JOSHUA TREE, CA — The Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s top-awarded Hi-Desert Playhouse invites you to celebrate MOTHERS’S DAY May 10-12 with its dazzling new cabaret production, LOVE SONGS FROM BROADWAY!  Perfect for Mom, the Playhouse’s all-star and award-winning cast of singers will surely warm your heart and tickle your funny bone as they sing of old love, new love, love found, and love lost.  This special cabaret production will feature songs from classic Broadway musicals including THE KING AND I, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, SWEENEY TODD: DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET and SHOWBOAT, plus songs from new Broadway smash hit shows like THE BAND’S VISIT, WAITRESS, WICKED, DEAR EVAN HANSEN, and more!  The talented cast of singers includes Cultural Center favorites Ben Bees (WORKING, COMING ATTRACTIONS, THE DIVINERS), Scott Clinkscales (WORKING, GODSPELL, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS), Haley Kooyman (WORKING, COMING ATTRACTIONS, THE RED PRIEST), Jericho McWilliams (COMING ATTRACTIONS), Analisa Pilecki (THE SPITFIRE GRILL, GODSPELL, WORKING), Jasmine Shaffer (LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, GODSPELL), and, new to the Hi-Desert Cultural Center stage, Natalie Mann—who has just finished a successful run in the concert production of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, CA.

Conceived and Directed by Howard Shangraw, and with Musical Direction by Nelms McKelvain, LOVE SONGS FROM BROADWAY plays May 10 and 11 at 7:30 pm with a 2:30 pm matinee on Sunday, May 12.  The production is rated-G for all audiences.  Doors open one half-hour prior to the performance.  Tickets range from $18 for General Admission up to $32 for Elite Seating.  A cash bar is available prior to each performance and during intermission.
