Yucca Valley Visual & Performing Arts Center to open June 2—unveils new YVArts.org website
JOSHUA TREE, CA — The new state-of-the-art Yucca Valley Visual & Performing Arts Center, an annex of Hi-Desert Cultural Center, will open June 2, 2018 at 7:30pm with a special Grand Opening Gala celebration open to the public. Located at 58325 Highway 62 in the heart of the beautiful Town of Yucca Valley, California, the new 15,000+sf arts facility will feature the largest and most state-of-the-art gallery, arts creation, and arts education space in the Joshua Tree National Park region.
Designed specifically for arts education and production, the new center will feature a world-class, technologically innovative gallery and exhibition space; dedicated Broadcast Arts Studios for radio and internet broadcasting; a Fabric Arts Studio and workshop for fashion and costume design, complete with a wardrobe and commercial laundry; a Dance Arts Studio for dance, music, and theater rehearsal; a Visual Arts Studio for paint, ceramic, and other art mediums; a Metal/Wood Arts Studio and workshop for theatrical scenic and properties production; outdoor Installation Arts exhibition space; a gift shop, administrative offices, and more.
