Award-winning Playhouse presents magical play, FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70TH BIRTHDAY

JOSHUA TREE, CA – The Hi-Desert Playhouse presents For Peter Pan On Her 70th Birthday with two performances on Friday and Saturday, March 8 & 9, starting at the new time of 7:30 pm. Directed by Howard Shangraw and starring Ben Bees, Matt Burgess, Wendy Rolfe Evered, Steve Lusk, and Kristine Waters, For Peter Pan On Her 70th Birthday tells the story of five adult siblings ranging in age from 50 to 70 reminiscing about growing up in Iowa, and soon being transported back to Neverland. Playwright Sarah Ruhl magically turns back time, and transports us to a place where we are given a moment to remember, a moment to clap our hands, and a moment to bring back to life the joy of pretending to never, ever “grow up.” 

Where directors, playwrights, and actors rehearse and present exceptional reader’s theater, the Playhouse’s “Fridays! Reader’s Theater Series ” showcases superb acting talent in a professional setting with an intent to create thoughtful discussion and social community for live theater actors and enthusiasts. 

Elite seating tickets are $18 and General admission tickets are only $12. All tickets include one drink ticket. A cash bar is also available.
