CALL FOR ART & Sculpture: Hi-Desert Medical Center theARTISTS Galleries
JOSHUA TREE, CA – The Hi-Desert Cultural Center and Hi-Desert Medical Center have established one of the premier art galleries in the Morongo Basin exhibiting fine art from area artists in their new galleries located on the hospital campus. Curated by theARTISTS of the Hi-Desert Cultural Center, theARTISTS Galleries at Hi-Desert Medical Center are announcing a “call for art” welcoming area artists to submit their art and small sculpture for consideration in the galleries’ next art exhibitions.
theARTISTS Galleries’ new exhibitions will be on display and for sale for a period of four months beginning in January, and must adhere to specific guidelines that meet hospital safety regulations and also guidelines of fine art. Subject matter should be conducive to a hospital setting in positive themes; no nudes or dark subject matter will be accepted. All media and photography will be accepted into the jury process. All artwork must also be available for sale and a portion of proceeds from the sales of this fine art will benefit the Hi-Desert Memorial Health Care District Foundation and Hi-Desert Cultural Center.
There will be an initial jury selection pending approval of the Hi-Desert Cultural Center and the Hi-Desert Medical Center.
