Charles J. Evered House receives donation from internationally renowned rock band 3 Doors Down through The Better Life Foundation
JOSHUA TREE, CA — The Charles J. Evered House, an artist residency for veterans and those who work in conflict zones, is thrilled to announce that it has received a $5,000 donation from The Better Life Foundation, the charity arm of 3 Doors Down—the multi-platinum and gold-certified rock band from Escatawpa, Mississippi, that has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
The Charles J. Evered House (CJE House) was founded by writer and director Charles B. Evered, and is named after his father, who was a veteran of World War II. Situated near Joshua Tree National Park, the CJE House is the newest program division of the Hi-Desert Cultural Center, the region’s premier tax exempt non-profit 501(c)(3) arts organization for nearly 60 years.
