See and meet some of the directors, dancers, and students of internationally renowned Nickerson-Rossi Dance!

 

GREATER JOSHUA TREE — You are invited to see the beauty, power, and grace of Nickerson-Rossi Dance, an internationally renowned contemporary dance company in a special open rehearsal at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s NEW Yucca Valley Visual & Performing Arts Center!

Hi-Desert Cultural Center has partnered with Nickerson-Rossi Dance to bring an unprecedented new dance program to Greater Joshua Tree! Our goal is to provide area youth with sustainable, high-caliber dance education and access to more professional, educational, and therapeutic dance program possibilities created through Nickerson-Rossi Dance.

Meet the directors of the company, and watch the professional company dancers and select Pre-professional Dancers of their Palm Springs Dance Academy perform stunning dance works as a showcase of what is to come to the Hi-Desert!

Nickerson-Rossi Dance produces the Palm Springs International Dance Festival, provides education programming with their Art Partners: Palm Springs, Desert Sands, and Riverside Unified School Districts, and provides therapeutic dance programming at the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center. Nickerson-Rossi Dance is rich with education, a powerful resource for youth to connect to higher education and professional dance, and creates safe spaces for youth to learn, grow, explore, create, and flourish. 

A brand new, further-expanded comprehensive dance program directed by Nickerson-Rossi Dance in partnership with Hi-Desert Cultural Center is set to potentially open in September 2022 and run through May 2023. Classes for toddlers, youth, pre-teens, and teens opening soon!

Should your schedule change and you find yourself needing to attend a performance on a different date — if you give the Box Office at least 48 hours notice prior to your ticketed performance, management will attempt to exchange your ticket for a different performance of the same show!

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ARE GUARANTEED; HOWEVER, WE WILL ATTEMPT TO EXCHANGE YOUR TICKET FOR A DIFFERENT PERFORMANCE OF THE SAME PRODUCTION IF REQUESTED AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR TICKETED PERFORMANCE. NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR A MISSED PERFORMANCE. YOU FURTHER CONSENT TO THE USE OF YOUR IMAGE OR LIKENESS INCIDENTAL TO ANY DISPLAY, TRANSMISSION, OR REPRODUCTION OF THE EVENT. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMISSION OR EJECT ANY PERSON WHOSE CONDUCT IS DEEMED BY MANAGEMENT TO BE DISORDERLY OR WHO FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN. IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION FOR WHICH THERE IS NO RESCHEDULED DATE, A REFUND FOR THIS TICKET MAY BE ISSUED AT THE OPTION OF THE MANAGEMENT AND MAY NOT INCLUDE ADDITIONAL TICKETING FEES (I.E., TICKETING OPERATIONS FEE, SHIPPING FEES, ETC.).
