Philharmonic to commence 10th Anniversary Season Feb 24
JOSHUA TREE, CA – The Joshua Tree Philharmonic (JPHIL) will begin its Spring session this coming Monday at 6pm at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Blak Box Theater in Joshua Tree. Marking the beginning of its 10th Anniversary Year, this innovative intergenerational community orchestra welcomes musicians to join and be a part of a new season and a fantastic celebration of music! The Philharmonic will be performing a diverse repertoire including music of Adele, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Carmina Burana, Duke Ellington, Moody Blues, Mozart, and many more – culminating in a concert series May 16-18. The JPHIL rehearses every Monday night, and there is a nominal fee to participate that goes toward music, music royalties, facility usage and materials. New interested musicians are invited to bring their instruments to audition. The Joshua Tree Philharmonic, a program of the Desert Music Foundation, is under the direction of Maestro Jarrod Radnich.
