Following the unprecedented success of its innovative Joshua Tree Philharmonic, the Hi-Desert Cultural Center has launched its new Youth Philharmonic that is a multi-session year-round educational program that enrolls students ages 8 through high school in classes that provide young musicians with exceptional music education. Dedicated to bringing the highest level of artistic training, the new Youth Philharmonic provides the opportunity for young musicians to explore the depth and beauty of music in a focused yet fun environment – covering a broad swath of styles including film scores, pop, classical, world music, and more. Individuals must be enrolled in either the Strings, Woodwinds, or Brass Conservatories, or by special exemption, to participate. Pianists, percussionists, and other types of instrumentalists may participate.

HI-DESERT ARTS ACADEMY MISSION
The mission of the Hi-Desert Arts Academy (HDAA) is to provide a first-class, academically-based, visual and performing arts education to students living in the Hi-Desert and surrounding Southern California regions. Our philosophy and belief is that, regardless of socio/economic factors, all students are capable of academic and personal success when surrounded by parents, teachers, and mentors who not only hold them to the highest of expectations, but also give them the individualized support they need to help them fulfill their potential.
