Originally est. 1967, re-est. 2014 for the Center’s 50th anniversary

theARTISTS of the Hi-Desert Cultural Center focus on the visual and aesthetic arts and operate several galleries for public viewing throughout the Joshua Tree National Park desert communities: the Hi-Desert Cultural Center Galleries located in the foyers of its theaters, and the Hi-Desert Medical Center Galleries, located in various spaces throughout the hospital campus.

Open to all professional artists, artwork featured in these galleries are also featured in the Cultural Center’s online gallery and shop, promoted through the Center’s social media and e-newsletter, in concert and show programs, the Cultural Center’s full-color highway marquee, and many other areas of promotion including the Cultural Center’s online gallery and shop where art is available for sale. Featuring original artwork, prints, and postcards, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these fine art pieces benefit the Hi-Desert Cultural Center and the Hi-Desert Medical Center’s VolunTeen program.

GREAT NEWS FOR SEASON PACKAGE TICKET HOLDERS! Should your schedule change and you find yourself needing to attend a performance on a different date — if you give the Box Office at least 48 hours notice prior to your ticketed performance, management will attempt to exchange your ticket for a different performance of the same show!
